Background
The client is a prominent Electronic Technology Group specializing in the research, development, and application of military and civil equipment. Their portfolio includes measurement and control systems, radar systems, photoelectric systems, UAV platforms and defense systems, and naval vessel launch systems.
Application Scenario
Automatic opening of ship missile launchers
Environmental Requirements
Operating Temperature: -40°C to +85°C.
Durability: High resistance to vibration and mechanical shock.
Compliance: 100% localization (domestic production) of all electronic components.
Challenges
The missile launch cover system demands extreme reliability. Key challenges included:
Start-up stability at ultra-low temperatures and continuous operational reliability at high temperatures.
The ability to withstand the severe vibration and impact typical of naval environments.
A strict mandate for 100% domestic sourcing of all electronic components in the motor and driver to ensure supply chain security and autonomous controllability.
The Solution
Following in-depth technical consultations and requirement matching, we provided the Series 60 Wide-Temperature Stepper Motor along with a fully localized matching driver.
Temperature Resilience: Utilizing wide-temperature resistant materials and specialized lubrication processes, the motor ensures reliable startup at -40°C and stable long-term operation at +85°C.
Robust Design: The structural engineering meets rigorous naval standards for vibration and shock resistance.
Autonomous Controllability: All core electronic components are selected from domestic Chinese manufacturers, fully satisfying the project's localization requirements.
Application Results
The solution successfully addressed the client's mandatory requirement for fully localized components and achieved precise, stable movement of the launch cover system under extreme temperatures and high-vibration conditions.
Based on this success, a long-term partnership has been established, and we continue to provide supporting motors and driver products for the client's ongoing projects.
