Our client is a renowned domestic biotechnology company, an innovative technology-driven enterprise combining ultra-low temperature and automation technologies.  They specialize in providing automated and intelligent storage equipment and comprehensive solutions for biological cell samples in the -80℃ to -196℃ temperature range to users in the biomedical field worldwide.

Technical Challenges in Low-Temperature Environments:

In extreme low-temperature environments below -80℃, conventional motors face multiple challenges, including lubricant solidification, material embrittlement, and decreased insulation performance. This leads to difficulties in equipment startup, unstable operation, and frequent failures. This places extremely stringent requirements on the core driving components—the motors—in automated equipment operating in ultra-low temperature environments.

Solution:

Based on the client's specific needs, we provided them with ultra-low temperature stepper motors and ultra-low temperature servo motors, as follows:

Stepper Motors: HS4248A / HS5776A (with brake), equipped with a braking device to ensure precise start-stop and positioning in low-temperature environments.

Servo Motors: 100W / 400W / 750W (with brake), also integrated with a braking system for high-speed response and precise control.

Market Validation:

After long-term application and validation on multiple client devices, our ultra-low temperature motor series has demonstrated excellent low-temperature adaptability:

It can still start normally and operate stably in a -196℃ liquid nitrogen environment.

Precise braking control ensures the accuracy and safety of biological sample tube grasping and transfer.
